Hello Valhallers,
It has been an amazing start to a year that promises to be the best yet. I am very excited to have so many VALHALLA VETERANS this year. The new faces are plentiful I am grateful to see our VETERAN VALHALLERS help out our newbies by setting an example and reminding them of where this goes or when and where we can do that.
I have also had the great fortune of having several returning Valhalla staff members this year.
-Mrs. Hutchings is in her 5th year at Valhalla, initially hosting CRAFTACULAR and now helping out at SNACK and ACADEMICS. We look forward to seeing the projects she comes up with.
-Mrs. Sanford is in her 5th year with Valhalla and Valheroes is thriving, doing fun projects everywhere thanks to her. I look forward to seeing just what that group can accomplish this year.
-Mr. Spengler is back for for his 4th year at the program and we can look forward to seeing him all over the place but specifically at Girls Club(Mr. She-Man returns) and a brand new top secret project.
-Mrs. Hamilton is in her 3rd year with the program and is working on bringing back several crowd favorite enrichment classes like: Girls Club and Where in the World is Mrs. Hammy?
-Mrs. Scharf is returning for her 3rd year at Valhalla as well. Mrs. Scharf has been working on many different enrichments including; LEGO ROBOTICS, Green Thumbs and SCI-FI, coming soon.
We'd also like to welcome Mr. Martin for his first year at Valhalla as he takes the reigns of our PHYSICAL ENRICHMENT course and brings some new games and new versions of dodgeball to the table. Finally, we have two regular volunteers at Valhalla that deserve a shoutout. Krysten Saunders, valhalla alumni, is back helping out with Mr. Norland's many projects and joining her is Arcelia Guzman.
Thanks to everybody for making this a great year already... look for information about our upcoming
Lights On Valhalla Night... OCT. 17th @ 6:00-7:00 in the ANNEX A.
