Hello Parents and Valhallers!

I wanted to share about Valhalla's great year in 2013-2014

5,500- times an MMS student stayed safe at Valhalla this year

207- Credits recovered by the MMS team

500- Enrichment classes offered

30- Out trips to the Caldwell YMCA

355- times a Valhalla parent attended a Community Night

20- parents took a Love and Logic Parenting Class

315- hours of academic session completed

72+- Valhalla students maintained or improved (Volunteerism, attendance, attentiveness, behavior, and cooperativeness) as reported by MMS teacher surveys!

I'd like to take a quick second and share that I will be transitioning to a new opportunity next year and I will always have a soft spot for Valhalla and it's participants. Thanks to the Middleton community for the opportunity to have worked with you, your students and your families. It has been amazing. 

 

If you have interest in teaching a class with Valhalla next year, please reach out to the district's selection for my replacement.I'm sure they will be welcomed with open arms and willing minds and Valhalla can always use new enrichment ideas.

Valhalla Summer Send Off

Hello Valhalla Participants and Parents...

Our last day of Valhalla is coming FAST! on May 9th

We are decorating shirts from home so only wear/send your participant in a shirt that you're ok with them getting messy.

Valhalla will start back up September 8th of 2014 and we'll need a new registration for everyone so look for us at District Registration and during the first few weeks of school.

Just a quick reminder that there is NO Valhalla April 16-18

Make sure you get home safe as Valhalla staff will be attending a conference to better serve our participants.

Valhalla Spring Fling TONIGHT

Hello All,

It's an exciting day, we are getting ready to host normal Valhalla and then afterward is
SPRING FLING!

Otherwise, we have some professional development days coming up so our staff can learn to better serve your participants.

NO VALHALLA on APRIL 16, 17, 18th. Please plan on sending your participant home through their normal channels, right after school ends on those days.

March has been flying by and before we know it Spring Break will be here.

April 10th, 6:00-7:30 P.M.

I will attach a flier here soon, and e-mail out details as they come together but for now save this date to have some dinner and learn about the MANY crazy awesome things to do in the Middleton area this Spring and Summer. Come have some food, enjoy some activities and PLAN YOUR SPRING/SUMMER.
